Customer Review: Good Filter, but wish it lasted longer

Like most homeowners I do a variety of jobs around the house that require various tools. My wet/dry vac is one of the most important tools to me (or more importantly my wife) as it helps me clean up all the messes I make when doing these jobs. This filter does a great job when it is new as it keeps all the dirt/sawdust/leaves/etc I pick up with it in the container. However, after using it sporadically over a few months the filter gets clogged with all these various things, especially if there is any moisture. When I try and clean it out it works ok but not great as it just continues to get clogged. Overall it does what it is supposed to I just don't like replacing the filter every few months....
Description of Shop-Vac 90304 Dry/Wet Cartridge Filter
This filter does what it's supposed to do. It's easy to install and is a convenient and effective alternative to using separate filters for wet and dry jobs. While I've heard some complaints that the old wet filters were easier to clean, I haven't found this to be an issue.Make sure this cartridge will fit your particular Shop-Vac model. According to the manufacturer, it does not fit the following models: 1x1, BullDog Portable, Mighty Mini, Hippo, Hang Up Vacs or AllAround Series.--Josh Dettweiler
